Question: Is Obama hiding something?

Answer: Does the sun rise in the east?

From True Discernment:
On January 21st, 2009, his very first day in office, Barack Obama implemented and signed into law Executive Order 13489.

For those of you who can’t take the time to read it. here is the section that applies:

“Sec.2

Notice Of Intent To Disclose Presidential Records

When the Archivist provides notice to the incumbent and former Presidents of his intent to disclose Presidential records pursuant to section 1270.46 of the NARA regulations, the Archivist, using any guidelines provided by the incumbent and former Presidents, shall identify any specific materials, the disclosure of which he believes may raise a substantial question of executive privilege.”

Now for all of you who commented on our previous articles that we were no more that right-wing nut jobs, that this thing about Obama’s birth certificate was a non-issue, and those of you who tried to shift the focus of the stories, doesn’t this strike you as just a little odd?

That the first order of business Obama took care of on day one of his Presidency was to sign off on an Executive Order that states that only the records he chooses to be made public will be released?

This is the subject that was at the absolute top of his agenda?

If this isn’t proof that Obama is hiding something, I don’t know what is

"President Obama, You Scare Me!!"

If you receive an email that says something to the effect of "Obama scares Proctor and Gamble President" or "Lou Pritchett scared of Obama," and read the following--don't bother Snopes-ing it, it's true.

Lou Pritchett (the president of Proctor and Gamble) tried to send a letter to the NY Slimes about Barack Obama. And, considering that the NY Slimes is a grand a bastion of free speech, they decided that since this letter was unfriendly to their Messiah they could not publish it.

End of story, right?

WRONG!!!!!

Mr. Pritchett did what many Americans USED to do a long time ago: he took matters into his own hands, and made the letter available on the internet, for EVERYBODY to see--not just the snobbish elite who think the NY Slimes is still relevant.

Here, then, is the letter from Lou Pritchett:

Dear President Obama:

You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.

You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.

You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education, your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support.

You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.

You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.

You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don’t understand it at its core.

You scare me because you lack humility and ‘class’, always blaming others.

You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail.

You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the ‘blame America’ crowd and deliver this message abroad.

You scare me because you want to change America to a European style country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector.

You scare me because you want to replace our health care system with a government controlled one.

You scare me because you prefer ‘wind mills’ to responsibly capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves.

You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose that lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of living in the world.

You scare me because you have begun to use ‘extortion’ tactics against certain banks and corporations.

You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.

You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider opposing points of view from intelligent people.

You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient.

You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do.

You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbaughs, Hannitys, O’Relllys and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points of view.

You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.

Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

Lou Pritchett"

President Obama makes good on his promise to Planned Parenthood

President Obama marked the 36th anniversary of the most bone-headed decision in Supreme Court history by confiscating more taxpayer dollars to send overseas in the fight to kill as many babies as possible. From FOXNews:
President Obama will issue an executive order on Thursday reversing the Bush administration policy that bans the use of federal dollars by non-govermental organizations that discuss or provide abortions outside of the United States.

Obama will sign the executive order on the 36th anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade Supreme Court ruling that legalized abortion in all 50 states.

The policy, known in governmental circles as the "Mexico City policy," requires any non-governmental organization to agree before receiving U.S. funds that they will "neither perform nor actively promote abortion as a method of family planning in other nations."

The language was announced at the United Nations International Conference on Population in 1984, and was approved by President Reagan and originally drafted by his assistant secretary of state, Alan Keyes. Keyes ran unsuccessfully as the GOP nominee against Obama for the U.S. Senate in 2004.

President George Herbert Walker Bush continued Reagan's Mexico City policy.

President Bill Clinton issued an executive order lifting the ban on Jan. 22, 1993. President George W. Bush issued an executive order re-instating the ban on federal dollars for NGOs that discuss or provide abortions on Jan. 22, 2001.

Planned Butchery is hailing this decision, since it will drastically benefit their bottom line.

Obama's contribution to aiding Katrina victims

In 2005, Illinois Senator Obama and his colleague in the Democratic Party, "Rosary Joe" Biden, pulled together to help bail people out the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

One problem.

They weren't helping the people in the Gulf Coast.

They were helping Alaska Senator Ted Stevens shoehorn his (in)famous "Bridge to Nowhere" through the Senate.

These two extremely liberal senators were aiding and abetting the pillaging of funds meant to help Gulf Coast victims of Katrina in order to send them 3000 miles away for a stupid bridge. They were too afraid to stand up to Stevens.

Meanwhile, also in Alaska, another powerful government figure (In fact, the governor, Frank Murkowski, a friend and ally of Senator Stevens) was throwing his influence around, only to be thwarted by a local housewife. Her name? Sarah Palin. Read more (From The American Spectator, via Neil at 4Simpsons):

Senator John McCain, a longtime opponent of Stevens and the Bridge to Nowhere, is not in the Senate the day Coburn brings up his amendment, but is well on record as opposing the Alaska bridge. His relationship with Stevens over the issue of earmarks has been explosive. Senators Obama and Biden vote for this Stevens earmark — against giving the Bridge to Nowhere money to the Katrina victims who need their bridge rebuilt.

[...]

Angered by what she calls the “lack of ethics” of a fellow Commission member, Palin resigns and files formal complaints against the GOP chair and Alaska’s GOP Attorney General. Both men are forced to resign, the party chairman paying a record $12,000 fine. Furious at the atmosphere of corruption, Palin turns her sights on the powerful Governor Murkowski, challenging him in a primary. She wins, and goes on to beat another Alaska insider, a Democratic former governor, to capture the governorship.

So, who is the real agent of "change?" Two liberals who are so far left they make Michael Dukakis look like Sean Hannity? Or the woman who says "Enough" and fights back by fighting against corruption?

Nbama 2008!

A sign of things to come?

Maybe. After all, Barack Obama has gotten in the way of the coronation of Her Highness, Queen Pantsuit of Little Rock (via Al-Reuters):
"My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. I don't understand it," she said.

Robert Kennedy, brother of slain U.S. President John F. Kennedy and of Sen. Edward Kennedy of Massachusetts, was assassinated during the 1968 race for the Democratic nomination.

Now, the Mainstream press has a dilemma here. On the one hand, you've got the Queen Bee whom they want with everything in them to be president, so they can't be too hard on her. However, she did diss one of the Kennedy Clan, which is a huge no-no among the Liberal Elite. But if a Republican had said this, it would have been a slam dunk that it would have been all over the front page of Pravda the New York Slimes.

I wonder if The Pantsuit was dropping a little hint there? Wouldn't surprise me. Seems most people who cross the Clintons wind up dead unexpectedly. And you know, there is that prophecy in the Bible. Revelation 13:1-3--I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns...And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded...

Not trying to imply anything. Nah, nothing at all.

David Limbaugh on the Obama/¿Hillary? battle

Rush's brother says:
They called her "presidential," "inevitable" and "experienced" and said she was running an error-free campaign. Actually, the media were just ignoring her mistakes, inconsistencies and embarrassingly unpresidential episodes, as when she patronizingly spoke in black dialect to an African-American audience.

The media didn't just shield her errors. They also insulated her from the ordinary scrutiny all other presidential candidates receive. They allowed her to choose what she wanted to talk about and what questions she would answer. With few exceptions, they gave her a pass.

When her rivals and Tim Russert dared to challenge her on a couple of important issues in a recent debate, she reacted with the indignation of a royal sovereign whose prerogative was beyond questioning. But the Hillary invulnerability bubble finally burst when just a few opponents and one MSM reporter questioned her highness.

Without her full court "press," Hillary's invincibility erodes. She has been slipping in the Iowa polls, and on Sunday, Obama pulled ahead of her, 29 percent to 25 percent, with John Edwards nipping at their heels at 23 percent. Other polls, like the ABC/Washington Post poll and American Research Group, corroborated Hillary's decline.

Obama displays biblical knowledge

Nah, not really. He tried to tell the parable Jesus used about building on a rock as opposed to building on shifting sands. And tried to use it to illustrate how New Orleans would rebuild. The passage from the Bible (Matthew 7:24-27) reads:
"Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. "But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall."

Comparing the rebuilding of New Orleans to a man who builds his house on the rock? Oh, yeah, that's real swift. As Allahpundit writes (via Hot Air):
Now, brethren, let’s apply that parable to the tragedy of New Orleans. New Orleans was built on shifting delta soil 16 feet below sea level. Its water table is so shallow that the dead are buried above ground. Without the levees, New Orleans can’t survive any storm at all. Lake Pontchartrain will flood most of it, as we saw two years ago. It’s also probably America’s most corrupt city, and in particular the levee board was run more along lines of patronage and favors than competence. The police force had ghost officers, and many of its real ones abandoned their posts after the storm. The mayor failed to execute a key component of the region’s storm strategy, leaving thousands stranded while city-owned buses sat unused, and eventually flooded. Many of them were less than a mile from the Superdome. The governor dithered and dodged and cried and she blocked the Red Cross from delivering supplies to the Dome. Lining New Orleans up with the parable, was it built on a foundation of rock, or a foundation of sand?

Hillary contracts disease that is fatal...

...to presidential campaigns. (via Breitbart. Sarcasm alert!!!)

It goes by many names, but is most commonly known as waffle-osis, or Kerry-Heinz Syndrome (KHS). The most common way it manifests itself is to cause the victim to be for something, then be against it. In the most recent outbreak, 2004 Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry-Heinz (after whom the malady was named) told the world that he war for the Iraq war before he was against it.

This year, it has struck again. This time, the victim is Hillary Ramrod Clinton. In April of 2006, Bill Clinton's wife was quoted as saying:
"I would certainly take nuclear weapons off the table."
However, since she has contracted KHS, her views have changed drastically. At a Democratic primary debate, she heard Barack Osama Obama say,
it would be "a profound mistake" to deploy nuclear weapons in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
This quote from Osama Obama, coupled with the KHS virus, caused Bill Clinton's wife to say,
"I don't believe that any president should make any blanket statements with respect to the use or non-use of nuclear weapons."
This confusion, of saying one thing at one time then turning around and saying another, was a hallmark of the Clintons' years in the White House. However, it is obvious that Bill Clinton's wife has now developed a full-fledged case of waffle-osis. A report in the New England Journal of Medicine is pending.

More wisdom from Obama

Oy! It's bad enough Osama Obama is saying that the Supreme Court should make rulings based on feeeelings rather than, say, the Constitution. Now he's saying that we should have sex-ed classes...IN KINDERGARTEN. I am not making this...ah, just read for yourself (via The Jawa Report):
ABC News' Teddy Davis and Lindsey Ellerson Report: Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., told Planned Parenthood Tuesday that sex education for kindergarteners, as long as it is "age-appropriate," is "the right thing to do."

"I remember Alan Keyes . . . I remember him using this in his campaign against me," Obama said in reference to the conservative firebrand who ran against him for the U.S. Senate in 2004.
In addition to local schools informing kindergarteners that babies do not come from the stork, the state legislation Obama supported in Illinois, which contained an "opt out" provision for parents, also envisioned teaching kindergarteners about "inappropriate touching," according to Obama's presidential campaign. Despite Obama's support, the legislation was not enacted.
Now, that doesn't sound so bad, does it? On the surface, no. But you need to remember something: When a liberal wants to introduce something to children in school, it is merely a stepping stone. They start off nice and easy, nothing too upsetting. Then, litttle by little, they start adding stuff that advances their agenda, and before you know it, schools aren't for education, they're for indoctrinating children (see this post).

If anyone can tell me why this guy should be president, and give clear, concrete reasons why this country should be led by this left-wing pandering liberal, please tell me. Because there is nothing about Osama bin Barack Obama that looks or sounds like he shoud be president.

18 July 2007

The Supreme Court is not run by feeeelings

Although Barack Obama would have you think otherwise (via Right Wing News):
We need somebody who’s got the empathy to recognize what it’s like to be a young teenage mom.”

Obama said that 95 percent of cases can be judged on intellect, but that the other 5 percent are the most important ones.

“In those 5 percent of cases, you’ve got to look at what is in the justice’s heart, what’s their broader vision of what America should be,” Obama said, adding that justices should understand what it’s like to be gay, poor or black as well.

Obama said these are the criteria he would use to evaluate potential justices.
Um, excuse me, Mr. Osama Obama (hey, if Ted Kennedy can get away with it...), there's this little thing we like to call the "Constitution." That, my friend, is wht you should use to evaluate potential SCOTUS justices, not your wishy-washy, namby-pamby feeeelings.

So, basically, Osama Obama's only measuring stick for appointing someone to the SCOTUS is that they can completely ignore and overlook the Constitution, and install their own thoughts and feelings into the rule of law.

Welcome to Osama bin Barack Obama's nanny-state!!

Don't look for an Obama-Gore ticket anytime soon

What has been one of the top rallying cries for left-wingers this year? GLOBAL WARMING!!! CARBON FOOTPRINT!!! AAAAAGGGGHHH!!!

Well, next time maybe Barack Obama might have to take Laurie "All I did was get in Karl Rove's face while he was trying to eat dinner. Is that so wrong??" David and Sheryl "Brownfinger" Crowe along next time he goes car-shopping (via Brainster):
Sen. Barack Obama talks a good game. He also drives a good car, but the two are not entirely compatible.

The Democratic presidential contender was in Detroit on Monday, oozing charisma and environmental awareness as he chided local automakers for building too many big vehicles and not enough fuel-efficient hybrids.

So his choice to drive a V8 Hemi-powered Chrysler 300C emits a whiff of hypocrisy along with its exhaust fumes.
But we're supposed to all cram into a Toyota Prius.

Yeah, whatever.
