While we hope that you will all make your own decision on when to drive and do so responsibly, we want you to know that we’ll be passing out cars at the end of class for anyone who can’t afford one. After all, you shouldn’t be precluded from driving just because you can’t afford your own car and your parents won’t pay for it.
Accidents happen. It’s not your fault or anything that could have been prevented by waiting a bit longer to get your license. Unfortunately, the Hyde Amendment prevents the government from paying for your accident and repairing the damage to your car. In six years, when you are old enough to vote, demand that your politicians support the right of teenagers to experience driving. No rich white man should treat a car accident as the consequence of irresponsible and reckless driving.

Leftist Driver's Ed
Found this at Helvidius, a Pachyderm (This page explains the blog's title). This post is about how liberals in this country would run driver's Ed classes in their own little liberal utopia (HT: 4Simpsons Blog):

More wisdom from Obama
Oy! It's bad enough Osama Obama is saying that the Supreme Court should make rulings based on feeeelings rather than, say, the Constitution. Now he's saying that we should have sex-ed classes...IN KINDERGARTEN. I am not making this...ah, just read for yourself (via The Jawa Report):
If anyone can tell me why this guy should be president, and give clear, concrete reasons why this country should be led by this left-wing pandering liberal, please tell me. Because there is nothing aboutOsama bin Barack Obama that looks or sounds like he shoud be president.
ABC News' Teddy Davis and Lindsey Ellerson Report: Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., told Planned Parenthood Tuesday that sex education for kindergarteners, as long as it is "age-appropriate," is "the right thing to do."
"I remember Alan Keyes . . . I remember him using this in his campaign against me," Obama said in reference to the conservative firebrand who ran against him for the U.S. Senate in 2004.
In addition to local schools informing kindergarteners that babies do not come from the stork, the state legislation Obama supported in Illinois, which contained an "opt out" provision for parents, also envisioned teaching kindergarteners about "inappropriate touching," according to Obama's presidential campaign. Despite Obama's support, the legislation was not enacted. Now, that doesn't sound so bad, does it? On the surface, no. But you need to remember something: When a liberal wants to introduce something to children in school, it is merely a stepping stone. They start off nice and easy, nothing too upsetting. Then, litttle by little, they start adding stuff that advances their agenda, and before you know it, schools aren't for education, they're for indoctrinating children (see this post).
If anyone can tell me why this guy should be president, and give clear, concrete reasons why this country should be led by this left-wing pandering liberal, please tell me. Because there is nothing about
