Speaking truth to (green) power

William F. Buckley, one of the most brilliant wordsmiths of the past couple generations has written an article posted over at Real Clear Politics about the religion of global warming. It reminded me much of this strip from Mallard Fillmore.

Global warming really is a religion. And as such, it should not be taught in schools. Then again, Darwinian evolution is a religion and...I think you know where I stand on that. The American Criminal Liberals Union thinks that the janitor at your local school shouldn't be able to even mention the word "GOD", yet they think it's OK to fill our kids' heads full of evolution and global warming, and bow before the statues of AlGore and Charles Darwin. And people wonder why so many kids these days are in the shape they're in.
