Caught cheating in school? Just blame Bush!

This is just getting ridiculous, folks. Did you ever see "Forrest Gump"? There's the scene where that strung-out hippie dude slaps Jen-nay at a party, and Forrest lays a smackdown on him. Then, the next day, Hippie lamely apologizes to Jen-nay, saying, "It's just that SOB Johnson".

Well, now, if your kid cheats on their med school exams, they can be expected to say, "I'm sorry. It's just that SOB Bush made me do it." I ain't kidding. Jammie Wearing Fool has the link from NewsBusters. Check it out:
So how is this all Bush's fault?

Because there's no WMDs in Iraq says Dr. Anne Koerber, an associate professor of dentistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

"When you have persons in high places who clearly lie about what's happening with weapons of mass destruction, or CEOs who lie about where the money is going, I think the general public gets the idea that anything that makes money is what's right."

Again with the canard, so easily and often dispelled, that Bush "lied" about WMDs in Iraq. Even media darling, George Tenet, dispelled that as a lie itself.

And why is she an "expert" on this issue? Well, because she has "written about the ethics of dental education", that's why.
According to the article in the Indianapolis Star,
Nearly half the students in the Indiana University School of Dentistry's second-year class have been disciplined for their roles in a cheating scandal in which students broke into password-protected files to view exam material before tests.

The school's Faculty Council voted Friday to dismiss nine of the students, suspend 16 for periods ranging from three to 24 months and issue letters of reprimand to 21 students for violating the school's professional conduct code. The class has 95 students.
They only kicked NINE of them out? Most schools, if you even know someone cheated and don't let someone know, you're gone.

I suppose that if these guys do get their degrees, then when they greet patients, they'll tell them, "Open up and say, 'It was Bush's fault!'"
