Dictionary of Liberalism

Following are the true definitions of many words and phrases. Will be updated occasionally.

Carbon offsets (CAR-bun OFF-sets) n. A way for rich liberals to assuage their guilt about the contributions their SUV's make to "global warming". (See also Ordering a Diet Coke with your Double Whopper and large fries.)

Dhimmi (ZHIM-ee) n. A person who kowtows to Islamists, and encourages others to do the same. They are ususally used by Islamic extremists for political gains against the people they wish to kill. (See also Nancy Pelosi, Jimmy Carter.)

Dinosaur (DI-nuh-sor) n. A big, huge animal that used to rule its environment, but was too slow, stubborn and sluggish to change and adapt, thus ushering in its extinction. (See also New York Times, SeeBS News, Time Magazine.)

Global Warming (glo-BULL WARM-ing) n. The invention of a bunch of "scientists" who want to make you feel guilty for everything you do. One of the latest ploys by the liberal left to bring about the end of western civilization. (See also AlGore, ManBearPig, junk science.)

Liberal (LIB-er-al) n. A person who supports "freedom of speech" as long as they agree with what you're saying. If not, then it's "offensive" and should be outlawed, even though they think that "offensive" speech is protected by the Constitution. (See also Political Correctness.)

New Mexico (NOO MEX-i-co) n. A country bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, the Pacific Ocean, Canada, and the Rio Grande River. It was formerly known as the United States of America.

Truther (TROO-ther) n. Someone who clings desperately to a fading hope that President Bush might have known somebody who knew someone else who went to school with someone who once hired one of the 9/11 terrorists to work at his Tastee-Freeze. So, yes, it was Bush's fault. (See also Rosie O'Donnell, Charlie Sheen, Ron Paul.)

Illegal immigrants: raping girls we're too lazy to rape

Found this little tidbit over at Independent Conservative. Apparently, none of the boys in this girl's school were willing to have sex with her, so this Illegal decided to take up the slack:

FRANKLIN - A 21-year-old man faces possible deportation after being caught in the bedroom of a [14-year-old] girl.

Ceballos, who is suspected of being in the country illegally, has been charged with two counts of statutory rape. He was arrested Monday and is being held without bail at the Williamson County jail.

I don't get it. What is it about these guys that have no future, that are criminals as soon as they cross over into this country (and, many are actually criminals BEFORE they come here), that would be so attractive to a girl? Is it some "taboo" or "bad boy" thing? What these girls don't understand is thatthey are running the risk of throwing their life away by getting hooked up with these jokers. The guys probably say all the things these girls want to hear, then once they make their "anchor baby", they couldn't care less about them. Kinda like Arab men.

But, I guess I'm just forgetting that these are "hard working people", who "just want a better life", blah blah blah. And raping 14-year-old girls nobody else will.

¿Tiene Carta Verde?

Apparently, in Harry Reid's universe, you don't need one. (For all you non-Spanish speakers, the title of the post says, "¿Got Green Card?") Because, according to The Dingy One (via Michelle Malkin):

This week, we will vote on cloture and final passage of a comprehensive bill that will strengthen border security, bring the 12 million undocumented Americans out of the shadows, and keep our economy strong. In the days ahead, we will work to improve the bill to protect and strengthen family ties while improving the structure of the temporary-worker program.

Um, excuse me. What did I miss here? 12 million people who came into this country illegally, who had no respect for our borders or our soveriegnty or our laws, many of whom come here to do us harm, and rob our welfare system...since when do we consider them to be Americans? Well, I guess when you're desperate to hang on to the House and Senate majority you worked so hard to get, and you really want to win the White House, you want to sign up as many new Democratic voters as you can.

Don't say you weren't warned!

What can you say about Keith "I could fit my entire audience into a laundromat" Olbermann that hasn't already been said? He's goofy, off-base, off-kilter, off his meds and just plain...off. But he really goes around the bend this time:



Granted, these guys weren't the brightest bulbs in the chandelier. But this is the beauty of public awareness. Suppose the guy at the "Photomat" had been some bleeding-heart, ACLU-loving anti-American leftie, and had taken the position, "Well, it's just art. I hope he does well in his endeavors." Then there would have been an attack, and of course it would have been Bush's fault.

But, since these guys were captured, there just a bunch of "morons" (Olby's words). You can watch more of the sheer madness that is Keith "Even my mom doesn't watch my stupid show" Olbermann over at The Olbermann Channel at YouTube, a spin-off of Olbermann Watch. (Oh, by the way, don't tell anybody that four of these guys were in this country...ILLEGALLY!!)

Sad.

Apparently, we're not safe in our own borders. And the men who we thought were there to protect those borders, they're in danger also. HOW LONG UNTIL SOMEBODY GETS IT THROUGH THEIR HEAD THAT WE NEED TO BUILD THAT STUPID FENCE?????????

In case you haven't heard, 4 Nat'l Guardsmen were overrun (hat tip: Instapundit) last night by a bunch of crazy Mexican gunmen. But, due to the rules of engagement that have been shoved down their throats, they couldn't do a thing to defend themselves. You truly have to feel for our Nat'l Guardsmen. Their job is to simply act as eyes and ears for the Border Patrol. However, there is talk that they may upgrade their weapons to spitballs and water pistols.
