Well, that didn't take long

The victims weren't even ID'd yet, and the LameScream Media strt revvin up the engines in the old "GUNS ARE BAD!!! WE NEED MORE GUN LAWS!!!" machine. MM has it over at her site, and over at Hot Air. The Ankle Biters have posted about it as well. I didn't come out and say it yesterday, but I knew it from the start. If any side in the political arena was going to use this tragedy to further their political capital, it was going to be the left. And they didn't fail to come through.

Gotta love this from Pravda the New York Crimes:
Not much is known about the gunman, who killed himself, or about his motives or how he got his weapons, so it is premature to draw too many lessons from this tragedy. But it seems a safe bet that in one way or another, this will turn out to be another instance in which an unstable or criminally minded individual had no trouble arming himself and harming defenseless people.
Are guns dangerous? Of course they are. So are baseball bats, guns, knives, and vehicles. But does that mean we're going to stop selling baseball bats, guns, knives, and vehicles? No. But, leave it to the left to whore around using this tragedy to try and help their cause.
