The animal has rights! That's why it needs to die!

PETA, which stands for (People Eating Tofu Ambidexterously) is clamoring for the Berlin Zoo to do the right thing in the case of a polar bear they rescued from the wild, and kill it.

No. Kidding. Folks.

Animal rights activists argue that he should be given a lethal injection rather than brought up suffering the humiliation of being treated as a domestic pet.

"The zoo must kill the bear," said spokesman Frank Albrecht. "Feeding by hand is not species-appropriate but a gross violation of animal protection laws."

Species appropriate???????

You know, by this point in time, I've about run out of new and different ways to express my disbelief about just how stupid many animal rights activists really are. I've said about all I can about their bathing habits, their IQ. This, folks, takes the cake.

So, let me get this straight: They rescue an animal that was abandoned by its mother in the wild, bring it into a loving, nurturing environment, and these whackos say it should be killed? If someone has a bit of sense to bring to this, please do.
