Barack Obama has come out and said that he didn't mean to say that he thought all the soldiers who have given their lives in Iraq were"wasted lives" Full quote (from Michelle Malkin):

Maybe the phrase "botched joke" may ring a bell. Funny how all these Democrats have such a hard time saying what they want to say. Of course Obama didn't mean to say it. I truly believe he didn't want the American public to know just how badly he wants us to lose in Iraq. He may not have meant to say it, but he sure does think it.
