Ayaan Hirsi Ali: Saying what liberals are too afraid to say

Over at Jihad Watch, Robert Spencer has posted a video from her appearance on last night's Hannity and Colmes. If only more people in this country would listen to people who know a thing or two about how dangerous Islam is to the very freedoms we hold dear in this country, we might take a different perspective on things.

Any serious student of history, if he views it with an unbiased eye, will understand that Islam was spread, not by winning hearts, but by winning wars. It was not spread by the witness of believers, but by the edge of the sword, and the spilling of blood. To think that anything has changed would be dreadfully wrong. While I will agree that there are some Muslims who live a peaceful life, I dare say they are the silent minority. And if Islam is a "religion of peace", then why does everybody run scared and kowtow every time a bunch of violent Muslims threatens the peace because they are "offended" (see "Muhammed cartoons", etc.)

However, we do have people like Robert Spencer, Daniel Pipes, and the late Oriana Fallaci to spread the truth about this religion of HATE. And we have the blood of thousands of innocent people who have died at the hands of bloodthirsty mobs. Mobs who have carried out the death sentences handed out by the "religion of peace." For more, read Hirsi Ali's interview in The Guardian. And if, after that, you can consider Islam to be "peaceful", then things truly are grim for this country.
