The politics of the Senate Democrat

They sure ain't kosher, on account of they just love their pork!! This quote is particularly telling (quote and picture by way of, ironically, MK Ham):

Yesterday on the Senate floor, Majority Leader Harry Reid was caught pulling out every stop to kill his own party's plan for earmark reform.

...

To Speaker Nancy Pelosi's credit, House Democrats recently passed ethics legislation that included provisions making earmarks more transparent. ... The ethics reform offered by Senate Democrats contained none of these tougher earmark provisions. So Senate Republicans, led by South Carolina's Jim DeMint, cheekily took the identical language of the House earmark bill and offered it as an amendment to the Senate version. Numerous Democrats instantly denounced it, apparently unaware (or unconcerned) that the language had been sponsored by Ms. Pelosi.

Rush, Hannity, MM, etc have all been telling the American voters the same thing for months, but now we get to see it with our own eyes: The Democrats don't have any plans of their own. They don't have any ideas of their own. They don't have any policies of their own. The only platform they have is "We hate President Bush." This fact is becoming painfully obvious as they bicker and fight with each other. There is no harmony, there is no sharing the spotlight, there is no consensus among Democrats other than their hatred for Republicans in general, and the president in particular.

They are, however, doing something about corruption. Unless, of course,
you're talking about corrupt Democrats. That, my friends, is a totally different story (And a whole different type of corruption.) See also Michelle Malkin.
